We are thrilled to present Elevate Ukraine's very first newsletter, a milestone that we are excited to share with you!

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine 1.5 years ago, our dedicated team has been working behind the scenes to deliver much-needed aid to those affected by the humanitarian crisis in the country. While our focus has always been on providing aid where it's needed most, we understand the importance of keeping you informed about the impactful work your support has enabled us to achieve.

In this newsletter, we'll highlight the incredible strides we've made and the lives we've touched, thanks to your unwavering generosity. Thank you for being a part of Elevate Ukraine's mission!

Elevate Ukraine’s Impact

In the midst of these challenging times, Elevate Ukraine has been tirelessly working to provide essential humanitarian aid and relief to those affected by the conflict. Since February 2022 we've achieved a significant impact, thanks to the unwavering support of our partners and donors:

• Donated 1000 trauma kits and 600 tourniquets to support first responders, civilians, and military personnel.

• Shipped a forty-foot shipping container filled with medical supplies valued at approximately $250,000 to hospitals in Mykolaiv, Poltava, and Kharkiv.

• Provided financial assistance to Camp Cristia, aiding 110 Ukrainian orphans who have been displaced by the conflict.

• Acquired a van to facilitate the transportation of supplies to internally displaced persons in Ivano-Frankivsk.

• Offered housing assistance to refugees and Ukrainian translators in Suceava, Romania.

• Procured generators and heaters for distribution in the Kharkiv and Poltava regions.

• Purchased food supplies for a hospital in Izyum.

• Acquired 21 Starlink antennas for national police departments in Kharkiv, Poltava, and Sumy.

Our projects are only possible with the generous support of people who believe in our mission. We are beyond grateful for the continuous backing of our donors, which allowed us to make a difference in the lives of innocent Ukrainians during this critical time!

Assembling 100 Trauma Kits

This Labor Day weekend, our dedicated team of volunteers came together to assemble 100 trauma kits, each carefully packed with life-saving components. These kits, featuring essential supplies such as tourniquets, chest seals, burn dressings, bandages, and much more, are destined for Sumy Oblast in Ukraine. In a region constantly facing the challenges posed by ongoing Russian attacks, these kits hold the potential to save lives and offer a glimmer of hope.

We are immensely thankful to Tim Brandon, the A&M Church of Christ and all our dedicated volunteers for their invaluable support. Elevate Ukraine is fortunate to have such a compassionate community standing with us!

More than just medical supplies, these trauma kits symbolize the hope and resilience of a community steadfast in making a difference. Together, we are providing a lifeline to those in Ukraine who need it most, offering a glimmer of hope in their challenging circumstances.

Brazos Valley Gives 2023

Elevate Ukraine is proud to be participating in Brazos Valley Gives, 18-hours of on-line giving that brings the region together on one day and as one community to raise critical funding and awareness for nonprofit organizations throughout the Brazos Valley. Powered by the Community Foundation, Brazos Valley Gives provides citizens and businesses with an easy platform to support the mission and good works of local nonprofit organizations that serve the Brazos Valley.

This community giving event will take place on Tuesday, October 17, from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Mark your calendars because we will need your help! We will be joining more than 150+ local nonprofits to raise money together and compete for prize money—the more donors who give to us, then the more likely we are to win prizes.

• Save the date -- Tuesday, October 17, 2023 will be a great day of generosity in the Brazos Valley. Get excited and ready to share your enthusiasm for Elevate Ukraine throughout the day.
