Elevate Ukraine Assembles 125 Medical Trauma Kits Together with Volunteers from Texas A&M Ukrainian Club

This past Saturday Elevate Ukraine teamed up with volunteers from the Texas A&M Ukrainian Club to assemble 125 crucial trauma kits destined for Ukraine. Packed with essential medical supplies, these kits serve as beacons of hope amid the ongoing conflict.

In response to the escalating needs in Ukraine, we have been actively supporting the country since the conflict began two years ago. With close to 1500 trauma kits sent thus far, the recent surge in attacks underscores the critical necessity of such aid.

Assembled with care by volunteers, each trauma kit includes vital items such as tourniquets, chest seals, Israeli bandages, and gauzes. Unlike ordinary first aid kits, these supplies are intended for immediate use, often being used within just 30 days of arrival in Ukraine.

We love organizinf assembly events because this process allows volunteers to engage actively, fostering a sense of empowerment and connection to out cause. This time, the involvement of incredible volunteers from the Texas A&M Ukrainian Club, including many with family and friends serving in the Ukrainian army, adds a deeply personal dimension to the effort.

Jerry Fox, Treasurer of Elevate Ukraine, expressed the profound importance of the project, stating, "This is a very important project. It's probably one of the most meaningful things I have ever been involved in."

As the trauma kits embark on their journey to Ukraine, we extend gratitude to all volunteers and supporters for their dedication and commitment to making a difference in the lives of those affected by the ongoing war.
